Nussschnaps
Dark brown colour, finely nutty in the nose with herbal notes. Dense and luxuriant on the palate with the intense aroma of nuts, slightly medicinal highlights and a harmoniously herbaceous flavour.
Description
The green walnuts are harvested before the feast of Corpus Christi. The ideal point of ripeness is attained when one can push a pin through the nut. The green nuts for the Nussschnaps are then harvested and macerated in a wheat distillate, which is refined with beet sugar and rectified to bottle strength.
